Facilities

Goldsmiths’ teaching and administration, and most of its residential accommodation, is located on a single campus.

The award-winning Rutherford Building houses the library, IT facilities and languages resources, while the iconic Ben Pimlott Building contains art studios and state-of-the-art research centres.

Departmental facilities include specialist laboratories, workshops, a 160-seat theatre, and three performance studios.

The Department of Media and Communications offers editing suites, video animation facilities, and photography, radio and TV studios. A cutting-edge new building that will house the Department is opening in autumn 2010.

If you were to progress to Goldsmiths you can also use the famous University of London Union (ULU) facilities in Central London.

Just 15 minutes by train from the centre of London, Goldsmiths is the perfect location to live, study and explore all that the capital has to offer. Goldsmiths has an international and cosmopolitan atmosphere, welcoming students from over 120 countries.

The award-winning Goldsmiths Students’ Union runs sports clubs and societies, and offers volunteering and student media opportunities, including a radio station and student magazine.

A fitness centre on campus provides gym equipment and exercise classes at affordable prices.

There are over 1,000 places in Goldsmiths' accommodation within walking distance of the campus, with most less than five minutes away. International students are guaranteed accommodation.
