The Institute of Education has Europe's finest education library and archives. Generous opening hours, online entry and user support enable easy access to this rich research resource. Students and staff also benefit from free admission to the vast collections of the University of London library and the British Library, close by.

On-site facilities at the IOE include: fast, wireless internet access; computer and study rooms; a nursery; a bookshop; cafes; a media suite with audio-visual services; state-of-the-art teacher training workshops and a teaching materials collection. Seminar rooms and lecture halls are well maintained and equipped.

Student life

The College offers a central London location that's easy to get to. The campus is in Bloomsbury, near the British Museum, and provides a diverse academic community, with students from many countries and many professional backgrounds.
